Identify Griswold cast iron from the bottom marking. The rough logo timeline: early 'ERIE' marks (1880s–1900s, pre-logo), the scarce spider-web mark, the slant logo (1920s) and 'ERIE PA U.S.A.' (EPU) variants, the Large Block cross logo (c.1909–1924) and finally the Small Block cross logo (c.1939–1957, most common). Also record the size number and the raised pattern number, and note the heat ring. Matching logo + size + pattern number narrows most pans to a period and a value tier. Condition then sets the price within that tier.
